MFF får ungerskt motstånd i tredje kvalomgången

Malmö FF får möta ungerska Vidi i den tredje kvalomgången till Champions League. Det står klart sedan ungrarna besegrat Ludogorets från Bulgarien med 1–0 i kväll. Det första mötet mellan lagen slutade 0–0.

MFF börjar hemma, troligen den 7 augusti klockan 19, enligt klubben själv. Returmötet spelas i Ungern en vecka senare.

Vid seger väntar playoff till Champions League för skåningarna.

MOL Vidi Football Club (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈvidi]) is a Hungarian professional football club based in Székesfehérvár, in the west of Hungary, playing in the first division Hungarian League. Due to sponsorship reasons, the club changed their name from Videoton FC to MOL Vidi FC. The main supporter of the club is the Hungarian oil and gas multinational company, MOL. Videoton has won the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, top level of the Hungarian football league system, three times in 2011, 2015 and 2018. It won its first Hungarian League title in 2011 and reached the group stages of the Europa League in the 2012–13 season.
