Ett obesegrat England väntar Sverige i semin
När Sverige på tisdag ska spela semifinal i fotbolls-EM så är det värdnationen England som väntar. Kvartsfinalens stora hjälte, Linda Sembrant, ser fram emot matchen.
– Det kommer bli riktigt, riktigt stort. England, med mycket publik och med våra svenska fans som har varit helt fantastiska, säger hon i SVT:s sändning efter att hon avgjort mot Belgien på tilläggstid.
Magdalena Eriksson säger till Expressen att hon blev glad när England tog sig vidare.
– Vi vill göra allt vad vi kan för att förstöra Englands fest, säger hon.
England har imponerat i EM. I gruppspelet vann de alla sina matcher och lyckades göra 14 mål samtidigt som de inte släppte in ett enda. I kvartsfinalen lyckades de dessutom vinna över guldfavoriten Spanien med 2–1.

The 2022 UEFA European Women's Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Women's Euro 2022, is the 13th edition of the UEFA Women's Championship, the quadrennial international football championship organised by UEFA for the women's national teams of Europe. It is the second edition since it was expanded to 16 teams. The tournament is hosted by England and was originally scheduled to take place from 7 July to 1 August 2021. However, following the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe and subsequent postponements of the 2020 Summer Olympics and UEFA Euro 2020 to summer 2021, the tournament was rescheduled for 6 to 31 July 2022. England last hosted the tournament in 2005, the last edition featuring eight teams.England are the hosting team, the Netherlands are the defending champions, and Northern Ireland participate in a UEFA Women's Euro competition for the first time.
The video assistant referee (VAR), as well as goal-line technology, are used in the final tournament.The final will take place at Wembley Stadium in London. The winners will compete in the first edition of the UEFA–CONMEBOL Women's Finalissima against the winners of the 2022 Copa América Femenina.
