House of Cards säsong sex kan göras om utan Spacey
Manusförfattarna bakom Netflix succéserie House of Cards bollar idéer för hur de ska skriva om säsong sex av serien för att klara sig utan Kevin Spacey. Det rapporterar CNN med hänvisning till källor med insyn i produktionen.
Netflix bröt allt samarbete med Spacey efter att han anklagats för försök till våldtäkt och sexuella trakasserier. Men källorna säger till CNN att det inte betyder att produktionen av House of Cards kommer att avbrytas.
Inspelningen av säsong sex hade pågått i två veckor när nyheterna om Spacey uppdagades och all produktion stoppades. Skådespelarna och medarbetarna inom produktionen väntas få svar inom två veckor på hur man planerar att gå vidare med serien.

House of Cards is an American political thriller web television series created by Beau Willimon. It is an adaptation of the 1990 BBC miniseries of the same name, based on the novel by Michael Dobbs. The first thirteen-episode season premiered on February 1, 2013, on the streaming service Netflix.
Set in Washington, D.C., House of Cards is the story of Congressman Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), a Democrat from South Carolina's 5th congressional district and House Majority Whip. After being passed over for appointment as Secretary of State, he initiates an elaborate plan to attain power, aided by his wife, Claire Underwood (Robin Wright). The series deals with themes of ruthless pragmatism, manipulation, and power.
House of Cards has received positive reviews and several award nominations, including 33 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor for Spacey, and Outstanding Lead Actress for Wright, for each of its first five seasons. It is the first original online-only web television series to receive major Emmy nominations. The show also earned eight Golden Globe Award nominations, with Wright winning for Best Actress – Television Series Drama in 2014 and Spacey winning for Best Actor – Television Series Drama in 2015.
On October 30, 2017, following sexual assault allegations against Spacey, Netflix announced that the sixth season, scheduled for 2018, would be the final season. The next day Netflix announced that it had suspended production of the season; on November 3, 2017, it announced that Spacey had been fired from the show.
