Laschet öppnar för att avgå: Personen inte viktigast
Armin Laschet erbjuder sig att avgå som partiledare för kristdemokratiska CDU. Vid en presskonferens säger han att han kommer att kalla till ett möte i december där partiet får välja vem de vill ska leda partiet.
– Det viktigaste är inte personen Armin Laschet, utan projektet som vi vill genomföra i vårt land, säger han enligt DN.
Under ett möte med partikamrater från CDU och systerpartiet CSU sa han att det är dags för en förändring, enligt tidningen Welts uppgifter.
Unionen CDU/CSU fick 24,1 procent i valet för två veckor sedan, en minskning med 8,8 procentenheter jämfört med valet 2017. Det är partiets sämsta valresultat någonsin.

Traffic light coalition (direct translation of German: Ampelkoalition) is a term originating in German politics where it describes a coalition government of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), the Free Democratic Party (FDP), and the Greens. It arises from the fact that the parties' traditional colours, respectively red, yellow, and green, resemble the normal colour sequence of a traffic light (Ampel). It has subsequently been used to describe similar coalitions between social democrats, liberals, and greens in other countries.

Jamaica coalition (German: Jamaika-Koalition; also known as the Jamaica alliance, Jamaica traffic light, black traffic light or Schwampel) is a term in German politics describing a governing coalition among the parties of the Christian Democratic Union/Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU), Free Democratic Party (FDP), and the Green Party.
The term comes from the fact that the symbolic colors of the parties in such a coalition—black for the conservative CDU/CSU, yellow for the liberal FDP, and green for the Green Party—are also the colors of the flag of Jamaica.
