Planer på att klä Manneken Pis som Jackson skrotas
I samband med tioårsdagen av popstjärnan Michael Jacksons död 25 juni var det tänkt att den världsberömda statyn Manneken Pis i Bryssel skulle kläs i en Jackson-kostym. Men efter dokumentärfilmen ”Leaving Neverland” där två nu vuxna män vittnar om att Jackson utsatte dem för upprepade sexuella övergrepp när de var barn har planerna skrotats, skriver The Guardian.
Manneken Pis, som föreställer en naken pojke som kissar, är en symbol för Bryssel och kläs ofta upp i olika kostymer.

Manneken Pis ([ˌmɑnəkə(m) ˈpɪs] , meaning "Little Pisser" in Dutch) is a landmark 61 cm (24 in) bronze sculpture in the centre of Brussels (Belgium), depicting a naked little boy urinating into a fountain's basin. It was designed by Hiëronymus Duquesnoy the Elder and put in place in 1618 or 1619. The current statue is a replica which dates from 1965. The original is kept in the Museum of the City of Brussels. Manneken Pis is the best-known symbol of the people of Brussels. It also embodies their sense of humour (called zwanze in the dialect of Brussels) and their independence of mind.
Manneken Pis is located only five minutes' walk from the Grand Place, at the junction of Rue du Chêne/Eikstraat and the pedestrian Rue de l'Étuve/Stoofstraat. This site is served by the premetro station Bourse (on lines 3 and 4) and the bus stops Grand Place and Cesar de Paepe.
