Tungt tapp för Göteborg – Christen Press lämnar
Damallsvenska Göteborg FC tappar sin största stjärna Christen Press, skriver GP.
Press har varit utlånad från Chicago Red Stars men har nu blivit bortbytt till Utah Royals. Det innebär mest största sannolikhet att låneavtalet, som går ut den 7 juli, inte förlängs.
– Ja, som det ser ut nu kommer hon lämna oss när kontraktet går ut, säger GFC-tränaren Marcus Lantz till tidningen.

Christen Annemarie Press (born December 29, 1988) is an American soccer striker and FIFA Women's World Cup champion. She plays for Utah Royals FC in the National Women's Soccer League and the United States women's national soccer team. Press previously played for magicJack of Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) as well as Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC and Tyresö FF in the Swedish Damallsvenskan, and the Chicago Red Stars in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
Press has played for the United States U-23 in 2009 and 2010 before playing for the senior side from 2013, though she was an alternate in the 2012 London Olympics. Since her first cap on February 2013, Press has made more than 95 appearances and scored more than 40 goals. She has also won a goal medal with the United States women's national soccer team in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.
In 2011, she was named the WPS Rookie of the Year. In 2013, Press was the top scorer in the Damallsvenskan with 23 goals and became the first American to receive the Golden Boot award in the history of the league. She was a 2010 Hermann Trophy recipient and holds the all-time scoring record at Stanford University.
