Tv-profilen hoppar av efter sexanklagelser från Abdul
Den brittiska tv-producenten Nigel Lythgoe hoppar av rollen som domare i programmet ”So you think you can dance” efter att flera kvinnor anklagat honom för sexuella övergrepp. Det skriver brittiska medier.
Sångerskan och programledaren Paula Abdul, som tidigare arbetat med 74-åringen i flera produktioner, är en av dem som har anmält tv-profilen för övergrepp.
Lythgoe nekar till alla anklagelser och säger i ett uttalande att han lämnar programmet frivilligt.
”Under tiden ägnar jag mig åt att rentvå mitt namn och att återställa mitt rykte”, säger han.

Nigel Lythgoe OBE (; born 9 July 1949) is an English television and film director and producer, television dance competition judge, former dancer in the Young Generation and choreographer.
He was the producer of the shows Pop Idol and American Idol and is the creator and executive producer of So You Think You Can Dance, on which he served as a permanent judge for the first sixteen seasons. He also created the 2009 competition Superstars of Dance.
