Volodymyr Zelenskyj: Sverige ska bygga upp Mykolajiv efter kriget
Ukrainas president Volodymyr Zelenskyj säger att de kommer behöva mycket hjälp med att bygga upp landet när kriget är över. Ett av länderna som redan har gått med på att hjälpa till är enligt honom Sverige.
– Johnson (Storbritanniens premiärminister red. anm) har lovat att hjälpa oss med Kyiv och med Sverige har vi kommit överens om att de ska ta hand om Mykolajiv och Mykolajiv-regionen, säger han.
Att Sverige ska hjälpa till att bygga upp Ukraina efter kriget är en fråga som har varit aktuell under en längre tid. I samband med att Zelenskyj talade inför Sveriges riksdag för en månad sedan lovade statsminister Magdalena Andersson att Sverige skulle hjälpa Ukraina.
– Det kommer vi jobba vidare med, sa hon till SvD då.

Mykolaiv's orderly layout reflects the fact that its development has been well planned from the founding of the city. Its main streets, including the three main east–west Avenues, are very wide and tree-lined. Much of Mykolaiv's land area consists of parks. Park Peremohy (Victory) is a large park on the peninsula just north of the city center of Mykolaiv, on the north side of the Inhul river.
