Donald Trump vill lägga ned kulturdepartement
Donald Trump planerar stora statliga nedskärningar när han svurits in som ny president i USA, rapporterar The Hill. Enligt tidningen vill republikanen skrota två departement som ger kulturstöd, National Endowment for the Arts samt National Endowment for the Humanities. Samtidigt vill administrationen privatisera The Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Nedskärningarna spås bli dramatiska för institutioner beroende av stöd men beskrivs samtidigt av Washington Post som en ytterst liten del av de stora besparingar som den nya administrationen planerar.
