Football-profil stoppas efter utspel om Epstein

New York Jets-profilen Aaron Rodgers stoppas från att medverka i den populära talkshowen “The Pat McAfee Show”, rapporterar AP. Det sker efter att football-profilen antytt att programledaren Jimmy Kimmel skulle finnas med på den så kallade Epstein-listan.

Kimmel har kraftfullt förnekat påståendet.

Rodgers har haft ett inslag varje vecka i programmet, men kommer alltså inte att förekomma mer under den pågående säsongen.

Rodgers har senare förnekat att han antytt att Kimmel skulle vara pedofil.

Listan är ett rättsligt dokument som redogör för 180 personer som på olika sätt haft kopplingar till finansmagnaten och sexförbrytaren Jeffrey Epstein, som dog i häktet 2019 i väntan på rättegång. Beslutet om huruvida listan ska släppas ska tas av en domare i New York.

Aaron Charles Rodgers (born December 2, 1983) is an American football quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). In the postseason, he is second in both touchdown passes and touchdown-to-interception ratio, fourth in passing yards, and fifth in all-time passer rating.
