GSMA: 1 av 7 mobila uppkopplingar via 5G 2025
Branschorganisationen GSMA – som bland annat står bakom mobilmässan Mobile World Congress i Barcelona – har på årets upplaga av MWC redovisat en färsk rapport i vilken man hävdar att 5G kommer att stå för en av sju mobila uppkopplingar i världen år 2025.
”5G utgör en stor del av världens utveckling mot en era av intelligenta uppkopplingar, som tillsammans med utvecklingen inom internet of things, big data och artificiell intelligens, står redo att driva på den ekonomiska tillväxten under kommande år” säger GSMA:s generalsekreterare Mats Granryd, uppger svenska Techworld.
GSMA:s rapport visar även att det mobila ekosystemet beräknas bidra till 32 miljoner jobb och ge 500 miljarder dollar i globala skatteintäkter till år 2023.
