Gucci slutar med päls: ”Påverkar hela branschen”
Modehuset Gucci meddelar att de från och med nästa år kommer att vara helt pälsfria. Det meddelar företagets vd Marco Bizzari, skriver AFP.
– Det här visar vår medvetenhet att göra hållbarhet till en väsentlig del av vår verksamhet, säger han.
Guccis kvarvarande pälsprodukter kommer att säljas vid en välgörenhetsauktion i samband med att vårkollektionen presenteras.
– Att Gucci blir pälsfria kommer att förändra hela branschen. Det påverkar hela modebranschen, säger djurrättsorganisationen Humane Society International i ett uttalande.
