Kritikern: De bör kamma hem statyetterna på galan
Vilka borde kamma hem Oscarstatyetterna på söndagsnatt nästa vecka? Om The Guardians kritiker Peter Bradshaw får välja anser han att Bästa film bör gå till Netflixfilmen ”Roma”.
Samtidigt bör statyetten för Bästa kvinnliga huvudroll gå till Glenn Close eftersom ”det praktiskt tagit vore förräderi att inte backa henne”, skriver han. Close är den nu levande skådespelaren som varit nominerad flest gånger utan att vinna en Oscars.
Bästa manliga huvudroll bör gå till Bradley Cooper för hans insats i ”A star is born”, tycker Bradshaw.

The 91st Academy Awards, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), will honor the best films of 2018. The ceremony will be held on February 24, 2019 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. AMPAS will present Academy Awards (commonly referred to as Oscars) in 24 categories. The ceremony will be televised in the United States by American Broadcasting Company (ABC) and produced by Donna Gigliotti and Glenn Weiss, with Weiss also serving as director. It will be the first ceremony in three decades, since the 61st Academy Awards in 1989, to be conducted with no host.
In related events, the Academy held its 10th Annual Governors Awards ceremony at the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood and Highland Center on November 18, 2018.
