”Masshysteri i Gamestop – börsen är inte ett kasino”
Om alla som är födda på 2000-talet investerar i aktier utifrån information som de hittat på Instagram och Reddit ”så har vi ett problem”, säger investmentbanken ABG Sundal Colliers vd Jonas Ström till SvD Näringsliv.
Han säger att investeringar ska ske utifrån vad bolaget är värt i dag och ett antagande om hur utvecklingen blir framåt. Men i Gamestop har det varit en form av ”masshysteri, utan koppling till verkligheten”, säger Ström.
– Marknaden är inte ett kasino, den är till för att allokera kapital till rätt bolag. Sätts det ur spel så det självklart inte bra, säger han.
