Neil Gaiman nekar till anklagelser om övergrepp
Den brittiske författaren Neil Gaiman nekar till anklagelserna om sexuella övergrepp. I ett inlägg på plattformen Tumblr skriver Gaiman att han aldrig haft sex utan samtycke, rapporterar TT.
”Det finns händelser som jag känner igen halvt om halvt och andra som jag inte känner igen, beskrivningar av sådant som hände sida vid sida med sådant som absolut inte hände”, skriver Gaiman och tillägger att han reagerat på kvinnornas berättelser med ”skräck och bestörtning”.
Åtta kvinnor har anklagat den bästsäljande författaren för sexuella övergrepp. Anklagelserna har lett till att flera av hans pågående projekt pausats.

Neil Richard MacKinnon Gaiman (; born Neil Richard Gaiman; 10 November 1960) is an English author of short fiction, novels, comic books, graphic novels, audio theatre, and screenplays. His works include the comic book series The Sandman and the novels Good Omens, Stardust, Anansi Boys, American Gods, Coraline, and The Graveyard Book. He co-created the TV series adaptations of Good Omens and The Sandman.
Gaiman has won numerous awards, including the Hugo, Nebula, and Bram Stoker awards, as well as the Newbery and Carnegie medals. He is the first author to win both the Newbery and the Carnegie medals for the same work, The Graveyard Book (2008). In 2013, The Ocean at the End of the Lane was voted Book of the Year in the British National Book Awards. It was later adapted into a critically acclaimed stage play at the Royal National Theatre in London.
In 2024, a number of commercial ventures linked to him halted production, owing to multiple allegations of sexual assault against women.
