Populära NFT-föremål blir filmtrilogi
NFT-samlingen Bored Ape Yacht Club ska bli film. Till och med tre filmer. Det rapporterar Cnet. Det är kryptobörsen Coinbase som står bakom satsningen som går under namnet ”The Degen Trilogy”. Den första av filmerna släpps i juni i samband med öppnandet av en NFT-marknadsplats på Coinbase.
Coinbase vill inte avslöja vilka namnen bakom filmerna är, men uppger att man jobbar med en ”otrolig grupp” vars tidigare produktioner ska vara allmänt kända.

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), or often colloquially called Bored Ape, is a non-fungible token (NFT) collection built on the Ethereum blockchain. The collection features profile pictures of cartoon apes that are procedurally generated by an algorithm. Yuga Labs is the parent company of Bored Ape Yacht Club. The project launched with a live pre-sale on April 23, 2021. Owners of a Bored Ape NFT are granted access to a private online club, exclusive in-person events, and intellectual property rights for the image.
As of 2022, sales of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs have totaled over US$1 billion and celebrities have purchased these non-fungible tokens.
