Tencent sparkar 100 som uppges ha ägnat sig åt bedrägerier
Den kinesiska techjätten Tencent har sparkat drygt 100 anställda, som man hävdar har förskingrat pengar och tagit emot mutor. Det rapporterar South China Morning Post.
Det ska handla om bedrägerier som skett på flera olika avdelningar inom företaget, men den avdelning där problemen varit som störst uppges vara PCG-divisionen, som jobbar med nyheter samt sport- och nöjesinnehåll.
Några av de tidigare anställda har överlämnats till polisen, enligt Tencent.

TechCrunch characterized Tencent's investment strategy as letting its portfolio startups operate autonomously. Tencent's valuation approached US$1 trillion in January 2021 before it plummeted. As of September 2022, Tencent has lost over 60% of its market value since its peak in January 2021.
