Trump tar medarbetare med sig i middagsbojkott
USA:s president Donald Trump kommer inte heller i år att delta vid Vita husets korrespondentmiddag som har arrangerats sedan 1920-talet för journalisterna som jobbar där, skriver Politico.
Trump ska också ha uppmanat sina medarbetare till bojkott av middagen som äger rum på lördag, skriver NBC News.
I stället kommer presidenten att resa till ett kampanjmöte i Wisconsin.
Beskedet kommer efter att Trump på nytt trappat upp konflikten med medierna och bland annat kallat MSNBC-profilen Joe Scarborough för ”psykfall” och skrivit att New York Times reportrar borde ”gå ner på knä och be om förlåtelse” för sin rapportering.

The WHCA was founded on February 25, 1914 by journalists in response to an unfounded rumor that a United States congressional committee would select which journalists could attend press conferences of President Woodrow Wilson.The WHCA operates independently of the White House. Among the more notable issues handled by the WHCA are the credentialing process, access to the President and physical conditions in the White House press briefing rooms.
