Unika fyndet: 30 mumier i kistor upptäckta i Luxor
Trettio sarkofager i trä har hittats i den södra delen av Luxor i Egypten, rapporterar flera medier. Fyndet är det största i sitt slag på över ett årtionde och de tros vara 3 000 år gamla.
Kistorna med mumier inuti hittades av en grupp egyptiska arkeologer vid en gravplats i Luxor och är enligt ett uttalande från regeringen kvarlevor från både kvinnor, män och barn.
Fyndet är det senaste i en rad nya arkeologiska upptäckter och ger hopp om att turismsektorn ska stärkas efter att ha påverkats starkt av senaste årens politiska utveckling.
