Uppgifter: Broadcom för samtal om uppköp av Vmware
Den amerikanska halvledartillverkaren Broadcom förhandlar just nu om ett eventuellt köp av mjukvarujätten Vmware. Det hävdar flera källor med insyn i saken.
Samtalen ska ha pågått en tid, men intensifierats under de senaste dagarna.
Broadcom har på senare år breddat sin verksamhet till att omfatta mer än halvledare. 2018 lade man vantarna på bolaget CA Technologies, och 2019 köpte man Symantecs säkerhetsverksamhet.
Varken Broadcom eller Vmware har kommenterat uppgifterna.
