Uppgifter: Samsung vill ha LG:s mobilbatterier

Enligt uppgifter till den koreanska dagstidningen Chosun Ilbo ska Samsung ha uttryckt önskemål om att få den lokala konkurrenten LG Chem som batterileverantör på mobilsidan. Det skulle ge Samsung en bredare leverantörsbas på batterisidan, något som skulle kunna vara önskvärt efter problemen med Galaxy Note 7, skriver Reuters.
Samsung använder idag batterier från sitt eget dotterbolag Samsung SDI samt från kinesiska Amperex Technology.
Enligt ett citat från en källa inom industrin ska ett avtal mellan de två elektronikjättarna kunna bli av med 90 procents säkerhet.
