Steam Deck börjar levereras i slutet av februari
Valve kom i november förra året med beskedet att gaminghårdvaran Steam Deck var försenad med två månader. Den nya tidsplanen ser däremot ut att hålla, för det senaste beskedet från Valve är att leveranserna kommer att påbörjas under slutet av februari. Valve ska dessutom ha skickat ut hundratals Steam Deck-enheter till utvecklare, så att de kan säkerställa att deras spel är fullt kompatibla med Steam Deck.

The Steam Deck is an upcoming handheld gaming computer developed by Valve Corporation in cooperation with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Playable either on the go or connected to a television, in the same manner as the Nintendo Switch, it is an x86_64 handheld console designed to play the full Steam library of Windows PC games via the Linux-based Proton compatibility layer. Users will be able to modify the console software to run non-Steam applications and games from other sources. The system is expected to launch in February 2022, after a two-month delay.
