Barclays vd: Bankerna måste värna sig mot Apple
Teknikbolag som Apple och Amazon utgör ett hot mot bankernas betaltjänster. Det anser storbanken Barclays vd Jes Staley, som anser att bankerna nu behöver försvara sitt övertag inom industrin.
– Genomgripande förändringar är i sin linda, påskyndade av techindustrin och den geopolitiska verkligheten, säger han i ett anförande på en stor bankkonferens, enligt Bloomberg och tillägger:
– Alla banker fokuserar nu mycket på betaltjänsterna. Det kan mycket väl vara om dem de kommande 15 årens strider kommer att stå.
