The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Arabic: شركة بترول أبوظبي الوطنية) or ADNOC is the state-owned oil company of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to the Oil & Gas Journal estimates as of January 2015, the UAE holds the seventh-largest proved reserves of oil in the world at 97.8 billion barrels, with most of the reserves located in Abu Dhabi (approximately 94% of the UAE's total). It is world's 11th biggest company by oil production, standing at 2.9 million barrels per day. It is the UAE's biggest company. ADNOC is building a $1.2 billion headquarters with over 300 offices for its management.
