Japansk ståljätte kan skrota helårsprognos efter fusk
Ståljätten Kobe Steel kan komma att dra tillbaka hela sin prognos för helåret efter att det omfattande datafusket avslöjats. Det rapporterar den japanska nyhetsbyrån Kyodo utan att hänvisa till källor, enligt Reuters.
Kobe, som är Japans tredje största ståltillverkare, beräknade tidigare att innevarande räkenskapsår skulle sluta med en vinst efter två år av förluster.
En talesperson för Kobe vill dock inte kommentera Kyodos uppgifter utan säger att man är upptagen med att förbereda för kvartalsrapporten som publiceras den 30 oktober.

Kobe Steel is a member of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFJ) keiretsu.
