Varken det juridiska eller det moraliska dilemmat med att Donald Trump ger sin svärson en post i Vita huset borde vara ett faktiskt hinder, skriver Bloomberg-krönikören Noah Feldman.
Skribenten menar att nepotism-lagen från 1967 troligtvis inte täcker utnämningar i Vita huset. En domstol gav dåvarande president Bill Clinton grönt ljus att utnämna hustrun Hillary att leda arbetet med hans hälsoreform 1993.
Och de moraliska tveksamheterna överväger inte vikten av transparens kring presidentens närmaste rådgivare, skriver Feldman. Nepotism är mindre viktigt än att rådgivarna är offentliga och kan ställas till svars, menar han.

Jared Corey Kushner (born January 10, 1981) is an American businessman, investor and political operative. He is principal owner of the real estate holding and development company Kushner Properties and Observer Media, publisher of the weekly New York Observer.
