Microsoft tar täten i Block chain-race med bankavtal
Microsoft har ingått ett strategiskt partnerskap med R3, ett konsortium av 43 finansiella institutioner, för att utveckla användningen av Block chain-tekniken, skriver Bloomberg. IT-jätten ikläder sig därmed ledartröjan inom området, framför konkurrenter såsom Googles moderbolag Alphabet, IBM och Amazon.
Block chain-tekniken, som introducerades med kryptovalutan Bitcoin, kan driftsättas i kommersiella syften inom ett år, enligt R3:s vd David Rutter.
