The Rock: Partierna ville att jag skulle ställa upp i valet
Flera olika politiska partier har frågat skådespelaren Dwayne ”The Rock” Johnson om han vill ställa upp som presidentkandidat. Det säger han själv i Trevor Noahs nya podcast ”What Now?” enligt The Guardian.
Frågorna kom efter att en opinionsmätning visat att 46 procent av amerikanerna skulle vara beredda att stödja ”The Rock” om han ställde upp. När partierna frågade honom lyfte de den mätningen, men också egna undersökningar som visade att Johnson skulle kunna få stort stöd, säger han.
I intervjun berättar Johnson att en politisk karriär aldrig har varit hans mål och att det är mycket inom politiken som han ”hatar”. Men han tillägger också:
– Om det i slutändan är vad folket vill så skulle jag naturligtvis överväga det.
