Flera muslimska länder kräver ”genuina” krafttag mot islamofobi efter terrordådet i Christchurch, då 50 personer dödades, skriver AFP.
Våld som bottnar i islamofobi kräver ”genuina, omfattande och systematiska åtgärder”, skriver länderna i Islamiska konferensorganisationen i ett gemensamt uttalande efter ett möte i Istanbul.
Tidigare under fredagen sa Turkiets president Recep Tayyip Erdogan att han vill se en global kamp mot islamofobi i likhet med den mot ”antisemitism efter Förintelsen”.
