Telekomjättar kräver stöd för 25-åriga licenser
Europas regeringar måste lägga ner sitt motstånd EU-kommissionens förslag att införa minst 25-åriga licenser för spektrumavtal. Det kräver Telia Company, Telenor och flera av Europas största telekombolag i ett öppet brev, samtidigt som unionens telekomministrar möttes i Tallinn på måndagen, skriver Reuters.
Frånvaron av ett välfungerande, investerarvänligt spektrumavtal riskerar att skada innovation, tillväxt och utveckling i flera decennier, skriver de nio telekomjättarna.
Ett 15-tal medlemsländer har motsatt sig 25-åriga avtal, skriver Reuters.
