Lottningen klar – så spelar svenska lagen i Europa
Efter att det nya ligaformatet i Europa League och Conference League lottats under fredagen står det klart att Elfsborg både får ta emot Roma på hemmaplan samt möta Tottenham Hotspur borta i London.
Samtidigt får Malmö FF, som precis som Elfsborg spelar i Europa League, möta Rangers på hemmaplan och Slavia Prag borta.
I Conference League ställs Djurgårdens IF mot bland annat Legia Warsawa och Panathinaikos från Grekland.
Precis som i Champions League har det tidigare systemet med fyrlagsgrupper och dubbelmöten skrotats till förmån för en grundserie med 36 lag där varje lag möter åtta olika motståndare. Fyra av matcherna spelas hemma och fyra spelas på bortaplan.

The 2024–25 UEFA Europa League will be the 54th season of Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 16th season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League. This will be the first season played under a new format, which replaces the 32-team group stage with a 36-team league phase. This will increase the total number of matches played in the competition proper from 141 to 189. The new format also does not allow teams to transfer from the Champions League knockout stage to the Europa League knockout stage, and thus Europa League winners (Atalanta in the 2023–24 edition) cannot defend their title as would all future Europa League winners as the winner of the Europa League automatically qualifies for the Champions League.
The final will be played on 21 May 2025 at San Mamés stadium in Bilbao, Spain. The winners of the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League will automatically qualify for the 2025–26 UEFA Champions League league phase and earn the right to play against the winners of the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League in the 2025 UEFA Super Cup.

The 2024–25 UEFA Conference League is the fourth season of the UEFA Conference League, Europe's tertiary club football tournament organised by UEFA.
This will be the first UEFA Conference League played under a new format involving a 36-team league phase. This will increase the total number of matches played in the competition proper from 141 to 153. The new format also does not allow teams to transfer from the Europa League to the Conference League knockout stage, and thus Conference League winners (Olympiacos in the 2023–24 edition) cannot defend their title as would all future Conference League champions as Conference League champions automatically qualify for the Europa League. From this season, the competition is renamed from the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The final will be played at the Wrocław Stadium in Wrocław, Poland. The winners of the tournament will automatically qualify for the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League league stage, unless they qualify for the 2025–26 UEFA Champions League through their league performance. In such case, the access list will be rebalanced.
